With influences like Nina Simone, Billie Holiday and Chrissie Hynde for starters, Christine, raised in Northern California, began singing solo at the age of five in church. Inspired by her mother who was a music teacher and choir leader, Christine studied classical piano. She received her Bachelors Degree in vocal performance, composing and arranging from Cal State Long Beach, later receiving her Masters Degree in music from USC. When Wingsband needed a Lovely Linda, Christine was the absolute perfect choice for the role. Her natural stage presence, and her ability to listen to, and learn, some of the most intricate musical parts, allowed this tribute show to take flight! |
